Only their imprint remains

As you walk around our neighborhood you will come across the occasional imprint of a leaf that had fallen into the concrete as it was hardening. Or maybe they had simply been placed there by someone. I am not really sure, especially when you consider how deep some of the imprints are.

The first time I saw one of the imprints I was out making a vlog and was surprised by what I had found. I made a special note of where I was when I saw the imprint, so that I could return at a later date. Honestly, I thought the imprint was one of a kind and sort of forgot about it. It wasn’t until nearly a year later when I was out on an evening stroll with my wife that I noticed another imprint, and then another. After a few outing with my wife I found that there were several of these imprints.

Now that I know there are more of these imprints I have decided to do a little photographic project capturing as many of these imprints as I can. It is actually rather fun going out and seeing what you can find. In fact I thought there were only imprints of leaves, but just recently I found imprints of a couple of bugs as well as footsteps from a raccoon or something along those lines.
